Jessica Taylor

Jessica Taylor is a San Diego native. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Jessica served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Valorie J. Vega of the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada. She also worked with two prominent Nevada law firms as both a law clerk and an associate attorney.

Jessica’s professional achievements include being named one of Nevada’s Legal Elite and recognized as one of the top 150 attorneys in Southern Nevada by Nevada Business magazine in 2012 and 2014. She was named a Mountain States Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2013 and 2014. Additionally, Jessica was recognized by the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and Nevada Lawyer magazine for her pro bono community service.

In 2016, Jessica and James Allen obtained the largest property rights jury award in California, with a verdict of $58,289,000.00.

Jessica has also been recognized as a Rising Star in San Diego’s legal community by San Diego Magazine and Super Lawyers Magazine in 2017-2018.

Jessica attended San Diego State University and graduated in 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction. In 2008, she earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law.

While attending law school, she was a member of the Dean’s List and won several awards in Advanced Advocacy: Advanced Pleadings and Motions, Trial Advocacy, and Pretrial Litigation.

Jessica is licensed to practice law in both California and Nevada.
